Operator
The controller of personal information is honkoma Inc., Monteverde Honkomagome 102, 1-20-16 Honkomagome, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo 113-0021, Japan. The privacy contact is quickclip@ltdhonkoma.com. This does not represent the appointment of a dedicated Data Protection Officer.
Information collected
For pre-registration, we collect the submitted email address, records of confirmation that you are at least 18 and consent to information handling, and registration time. In the restricted preview, we also collect display names, authentication sessions, terms versions and acceptance times, conversation inputs and AI outputs, usage ledgers, Market orders, library entries, favorites, carts, reading positions, download histories, posted reviews, and metadata needed for safe operation. Information collected when you open a tracking link, and when you register afterwards, is described in the sections "Measuring referral sources with tracking links" through "Use and retention of tracking-link information."
Purposes and third-party services
We use information to manage pre-registration; send notices about launch timing and pre-registration benefits; and provide authentication, chat, delivery of works, history, usage management, support, safety measures, and counting visits and registrations for each tracking link. We do not make secondary use for advertising or AI training. Names, settings, and recent active chats are sent to Ollama Cloud for inference. Email addresses are not included. Ollama's privacy information is available at ollama.com/privacy.
Hosting and storage
Cloudflare hosts the databases, images, and service, and may process information outside Japan. A service intended for Japan is not necessarily hosted only in Japan. Data handling is subject to the final agreements with each provider.
Cookies and similar storage
We currently use no external analytics tools or advertising. Cookies are used for authentication, entry to the restricted preview, the landing-page waiting list, Market adult-content display preferences, and measuring referral sources with tracking links. Browser local storage is used for age confirmation, drafts, and, while logged out, Market carts, favorites, and viewing preferences. The existing landing-page waiting list is not automatically migrated to service accounts. However, if you create an account with the same email address, the referral source stored with the pre-registration is carried over as the account's referral source (see "Use and retention of tracking-link information").
Measuring referral sources with tracking links
The operator counts the visits that arrive through tracking links beginning with "https://lovla.ai/r/", which we place in social media posts, advertisements, and similar places, and the pre-registrations, account registrations, and 18+ confirmations that follow. The purpose is to learn on the administration screen how many people came from and registered through each link and campaign, and to review our promotion. We use no external measurement service. Measurement and storage take place only on servers that we operate on Cloudflare, Inc. (a U.S. company) under contract (Workers and D1), and we do not send measurement information to advertising companies, analytics services, third-party tags, or any other outside party (see "Hosting and storage"). Only the operator's administrators view the aggregated counts. When a tracking link is opened, we record the number of opens for each link and Japan Standard Time date, broken down by whether the access is a bot, device type, operating system, browser, in-app browser, kind of referring site, country, and, for Japan, prefecture. These categories are derived from the User-Agent and Referer headers and from the country and region that Cloudflare estimates from the IP address. No per-visitor record is created in our databases. For this measurement, we do not record IP addresses, full User-Agent strings, cities, network carriers, language settings, or URL query strings. Separately from this measurement, records of some access remain in Cloudflare's operational logs for up to seven days for the safe operation of the service as a whole. Bot detection is based on the contents of the request, such as the User-Agent, and is not perfect. The country estimate is not perfect either.
Cookie for tracking links
When a tracking link is opened, we store a cookie named "__Host-lv_tl" in the browser. It contains only the identifiers (16 random characters) of the first and the last tracking link opened, the times they were opened, and a signature that prevents tampering. It contains no registration information such as email addresses. It is sent only in communications with lovla.ai and cannot be read by page scripts. Each time a tracking link is opened, the time of the last open and the expiry are updated, and the cookie is valid for up to 180 days after the last open. The time of the first open is not updated unless 180 days have passed. We store and read this cookie only for access that Cloudflare estimates from the IP address to be from Japan. For access whose country is unknown, access through Tor, and access from outside Japan, we do not store it, and we do not read it at pre-registration or account registration. Even for access from outside Japan, a stored cookie is sent to lovla.ai until it expires, but we do not read it or use it for measurement. Opens by such access are still counted for each link in the categories above. Access judged to be from a bot receives no cookie, and its opens are counted separately from human access. We provide no consent screen. The contents, purpose, handler, storage location, and period are published in this section and the sections around it. You can delete the cookie or refuse to accept it through browser settings. Pre-registration, account registration, and the rest of the service remain available if you delete or refuse it. Registrations made after deletion carry no referral source from the cookie.
Use and retention of tracking-link information
For access from Japan, if you pre-register or create an account in a browser that holds this cookie, we store the identifiers and opening times of the tracking links recorded in the cookie that were opened within the period set for each link (30 days by default, up to 180 days), linked with your pre-registration or account information such as your email address. When you create an account, we also record, for each member, the registration time and the time of the 18+ confirmation for this measurement, whether or not the cookie is present and regardless of country. If a pre-registration exists with the same email address when you create an account, we carry over the referral source stored with the pre-registration as the account's referral source. This carry-over does not check the country of the person creating the account or the period set for each link. After the carry-over, the referral source also remains in the pre-registration record. For the first link opened, the pre-registration record takes priority; for the last link opened, the cookie record from account registration takes priority. We use this information to count clicks, registrations, and registration rates for each link and campaign on the administration screen, which shows only aggregated counts. We do not currently use it to calculate rewards for referrers, to deliver advertising, or to provide it to third parties. The retention periods of the cookie and of the database differ. The cookie is valid for up to 180 days after a tracking link was last opened. A referral source stored in the database linked with registration information remains, even after the cookie expires, for the following periods. A referral source stored with a pre-registration is kept until the pre-registration is cancelled or deleted by the operator, and is deleted together with it. An account's referral source is kept while the account exists and is deleted upon account deletion (recovery copies may remain for up to 30 days, as described in "Deletion and retention"). Deleting an account does not automatically delete the pre-registration or its referral source. A pre-registration can be cancelled from the browser used to register, or by asking the operator. Daily counts for each link are deleted once 400 days have passed since that date in Japan Standard Time. These counts contain no information that identifies an individual.
Deletion and retention
Conversations inactive for 180 days are deleted. Upon a deletion request, access is promptly disabled and primary data is deleted within seven days. D1 recovery copies may remain for up to a further 30 days, for a maximum of 37 days. Operational logs do not record conversation text. Only necessary usage-ledger and administrator action records, excluding conversation text, are retained separately. Retention of tracking-link information is described in the section "Use and retention of tracking-link information." Actual payment processing has not started. These periods are service policies, not a statement of a uniform statutory obligation.
Processing grounds and rights
Information necessary to provide the service is processed for contract performance; pre-registration notices and optional information on the basis of consent; and fraud prevention and rights-infringement handling on the basis of legitimate interests or applicable legal obligations. Measurement of referral sources with tracking links is not based on consent and is carried out within the purposes published in this policy. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability. Consent may be withdrawn for the future, and you have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. Contact the email above, or use the request form on the Complaints page (type: personal-information request). Requests are handled after necessary identity verification.
Handling for the EEA and the United Kingdom (GDPR)
Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or equivalent UK law applies to personal data of users in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we handle it as follows. • The controller is honkoma Inc. (see "Operator"). Contact: quickclip@ltdhonkoma.com. • Legal bases are contract performance, consent, legitimate interests, or legal obligation (see "Processing grounds and rights"). • Data may be processed outside Japan through processors such as Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) under contract (see "Hosting and storage"). Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other appropriate safeguards. • Depending on applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability. Consent may be withdrawn for the future. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your EEA country of residence, or with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). • Retention follows "Deletion and retention" and related sections. Disclosure to payment providers when payments start follows "Disclosure to payment providers" (Japanese: 決済会社への第三者提供).
Cookie settings
Apart from cookies necessary for authentication, security, and user-selected display preferences, the only cookie we use for measurement is "__Host-lv_tl", described in the section "Cookie for tracking links." We provide no consent screen for this cookie. The information we collect, the purpose, who handles it, where it is stored, and the period are published in this policy and on the pre-registration screen. If we use third-party analytics or advertising cookies, or any other measurement cookie, we will revise and publish this policy before we start. You can delete cookies or refuse to accept them through browser settings.
Review and complaint information
Complaint contact details and complaint text are erased 180 days after resolution. Creator test submissions are deleted 30 days after account expiry or revocation. If deletion follows an account suspension or a deletion request, it is carried out promptly, without waiting for the 30-day period. Review records do not store original identity documents. Evidence of rights, identity verification, and consent is recorded as references to a separate, access-restricted storage location.
Disclosure to payment providers
If payment processing begins, we will provide necessary information, such as name, email address, telephone number, and purchase details, to contracted payment providers, including Waffo where applicable, for identity and billing verification and fraud prevention. Recipients, purposes, and information categories will be displayed before payment processing starts, and necessary consent will be obtained. Current test orders do not collect or transmit card information. The same applies to disclosures required by law.
Access management and requests
Access is restricted to authorized owners. Administrator access necessary for support is logged. We do not claim absolute security. Requests for disclosure, correction, or deletion may be sent to the email address above or submitted through the request form.
